Microsoft 365 setup: Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint

Six steps in Microsoft Entra so Louvain can read mail, calendars and files. About ten minutes.

You need: a Global Administrator or a Cloud Application Administrator.

In the Microsoft Entra admin centre, open App registrations → New registration. Name it Louvain → Register.

Open Manifest. Replace the whole "requiredResourceAccess": [ … ] section with this block (keep the comma after it) → Save.

Open API permissions → Grant admin consent → Yes.
Open Certificates & secrets → New client secret → Add. Copy the Value now: it's shown once.
Open Overview. Copy the Directory (tenant) ID and the Application (client) ID.
In Louvain, open Connections → Workspace → Add connection → Outlook mail → App registration. Paste the three values → Connect. Do the same for Outlook Calendar, OneDrive and SharePoint.

No Louvain account? Send the three values to your Louvain administrator through a password manager, never by plain email.
